  • Handle all relations with the media, including press releases on industry issues.
  • Make presentations to corporate boards, legislative committees, chambers of commerce, and regulatory agencies on behalf of the association.
  • Create an association grassroots alert system.
  • Organize members in volunteer campaign efforts.
  • Coordinate all aspects of an association political action committee (PAC).
  • Coordinate lobby efforts utilizing association leaders.
  • Track legislation and regulatory proposals affecting association members and provide analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals to the Board.
  • Monitor legislative or regulatory meetings and provide an executive summary or newsletter article.
